well it's nice to see you all disagree like this with me, but against the
risk of stressing things a little, if I were to tell you that a record is,
in fact, a round, plastic, saturnish appearance of sound or, slightly more
advanced, that a pick-up needle is a conical object, which is flat to one
side but has a point to the other, would you believe, or at the very least
be inclined to contemplate it then?
