Apple "stuff" isn't very proprietary these days. In fact, they sup****t 
all 
of the modern standards that your standard Windows laptop sup****ts and
then 
some (Firewire is standard, for instance). What you need for most laptops 
(Windows or Mac) is a USB to surround-sound processor in order to connect
the 
Logitech system. IOW, one of these:
