There are 2 - A35's and 6 A-25's, the originals not the XL's.
I've owned the receiver and the first pair of A25's since they were new in
1973. My musical tastes run from the New York Dolls to Yo Yo Ma. My ears
really like the sound of these speakers at all db levels. I've tried
Heresy's, Advents, AR's, JBL's, Empire's, Sansui's...even had a pair of
LaScala's (a friends) hooked up to it once, and I'm sure many would
argue that some of those are "better" speakers, but my ear has
always preferred the Dynaco's. The 4240 seems to be a good mate for them.
I am running it in 4-channel mode.
