Unless the tv has surround sound as well (which I'm thinking it has two
speakers and that's it) then you're not getting much gain over using the
rca
connections. I presume you're just running the sound connections to the
tv
for the option of playing the sound thru the tv instead of your surround
reciever?
I did the same thing with my dvd, sound connections to both tv and
surround
processor. But I just used rca to the tv since all it has is left and
right
anyway.
