Hi Dave M,
Thanks for your prompt response however, I am now even more confused [not
difficult] ;~)
Page 15 of the manual for the Samsung YP-T9 which I have downloaded is
entitled "Reset Function" with the following text:
"If a product malfunction occurs, you can
re-initialize the system.
Press and hold the [MENU] and [A B/ ]
buttons at the same time"
there's nothing about deleting recordings (files).
I am only concerned with audio but from the manual I have downloaded [from
Samsung UK] there is likewise no mention of being able to delete photos or
video either. Although it seems unlikely, I am wondering if this problem
on
mine is because I am not using Samsung's proprietory "Media Studio". I
phoned Samsung last week because I found I was unable to install the
supplied installation disc. Seemingly this is because I am running Windows
Vista not XP. Eventually, on the third phone call, Samsung said I didn't
need to and that WMP would work just as well. It has for the 3 CDs which
I've so far sync'd down to the T9.
I shall be phoning Samsung again tomorrow for clarification.
Thanks again, Dave.

Dingo
