I've been using the same two equal lengths (about
10' each) of 18ga lamp cord for my speaker wire
for the past 30 years or so.  Rolling up the excess
means that anytime I change the speaker positions
or move I can just reconnect the same wires again.
There isn't enough voltage, current or snake oil
running through them, straight or coiled to make
any significant difference in their performance.

BTW, has anybody caught this one on eBay?
I guess it's like the old joke about lemonade at
$100 a glass, they only need to sell one.
