Very Loosely coupled coils should not cause much additional inductance.
1) the excess does not have to be stored at the either of the ends.
2) the excess does not have to be coiled, s**** it back and forth the
fewest
times possible (less coupling) or leave it as a random rats nest :/
What ever you do, DO NOT lace it tight to *any* other conductors.
