Yep, all gibberish and I have no idea how to bypass the pod and stuff. I
think I would be better to get a new speaker set (still have to figure
out which one to get) since I had this since 1999 when it came out (only
if the speaker is indeed broken, dying, or dead).
I couldn't find a PDF manual online, but I still have my hardcopy. I
noticed it said to hook subwoofer to my speakers: "Step 2: Connect the
DIN plug to the subwoofer from the control satellite preamp." I guess
the preamp is where my controls are.
Then, another page said "Connect the Control Pod output, which is the
round DIN multi-pin plug into the v.2-400 subwoofer "Preamp Input." This
cable attaches the Control Pod to the five-channel power amplifier
inside the subwoofer. One of the amplifier channels powers the subwoofer
itself while the other four amplifier sections feed the satellite
speakers through their own speaker cables."
On another page, "Amplifier -- BASH (Bridged Amplifier/Switching Hybird)
design with high efficiency/high output power. Discrete MOSFET output
power section for high current, maximum dynamic headroom..."
